IsoBlox™ buoyancy building block

Matrix IsoBlox™ is available in a modular or block design for mooring and installation purposes.

IsoBlox™ is comprised of a closed cell syntactic foam system covered by tough integrated fibreglass and aramid skin. Available in sizes and uplifts ranging from 3 tonnes to 150 tonnes or more.

MATRIX LGS® SURF

Matrix LGS® SURF solutions is designed for use across a range of cylindrical geometries in water currents.

Matrix LGS® passive and low profile disrupts boundary layer instability caused by vortex induced vibration (VIV), which reduces both amplitude and drag as well as VIV induced fatigue.

Matrix LGS® is ROV installable for application before or after deployment of pipeline/riser.

Mid-water arch buoyancy

Mid-water arches (MWA) support the weight of pipelines and umbilicals as they rise from the seabed to the surface and de-couple the movement of surface vessel from the subsea production system.

Steel pressure vessels have typically been used to provide MWA buoyancy but engineers face challenges when transitioning to deepwater.

Matrix offers composite syntactic foam buoyancy for MWA systems as alternative to steel pressure vessels.

Modular flexible distributed clamp

Internal modular flexible distributed buoyancy clamp that can be used across a range of riser, pipeline or tubular diameters with a set of standard external module clamping straps.

Designed for easy offshore installation, reduced weight due to its advanced polymer design and cost effective modular design, the DBC system is delivered ready to install.

Distributed buoyancy modules

• Lightweight, robust, impact and abrasion resistant surface materials

• Range of long-life solutions for varying water depths

• Low density, ultralight buoyancy solutions

• High visibility marine grade paint finish

Production riser buoyancy

Manufactured from composite syntactic foam and advanced composite laminate technologies, Matrix manufactures and supplies buoyancy modules required by HRTs to ensure riser tensioning is within limits.

High part accuracy - guaranteed target buoyancy string tolerances of ± 2%

Easily assembled - ease of interface fit-up, with all module designs test fitted and fully interchangeable.
